Developing tools for the next epidemic

Epiverse-TRACE is one of the pillars of the wider Epiverse project, and is a suite of innovative software and tools for global infectious disease analysis and response. Better prepared, together

We are building robust, validated, and reliable tools that we know we will need in an epidemic. This is a direct response to not having them during the COVID-19 pandemic. This way we can address a next epidemic with a head start.

Robust
All tools are developed with high standards, ensured through automated tests and continuous review.
Validated
Our tools get validated through their use in other tools, in research, and in policy.
Reliable
We manage the lifecycle of our tools carefully to avoid sudden breaking changes.

How we work

Open Source
We make our work open and accessible, for anyone to verify.
Lean and Agile
We focus on clearly defined problems and deliver viable products.
Documentation as Code
Quality code requires quality documentation, so we regard docs as code.
Co-creation
Your suggestions help shape Epiverse-TRACE - surfacing needs is encouraged.
Social Impact
We close access gaps and transfer our software into practice.
Quality control
All our software gets community reviewed. We are in this together!
